The project was to design a concept of a foldable interactive robot, that could fit in your hand. The design process contained sketching, rough prototyping, 3D-modeling, and animation. The final animation is created as an advertising video conducted by both visual and sound design. Click play on the video below to see the animation in full.

I started out with some sketching of different robots and functions. I really liked the evolving and look of the fox, so that was the robot I choose. Then I did some rough clay studies to understand the actual size and how parts should move while folding the robot. Finally, I did a 3D-model of the concept and attached color and textures to it before setting up the animation and rendering it out.
